Just FYI for climbers in the Sacramento/Roseville area: This Friday, August 8th - climber Eric Alexander will be speaking at a Bayside Adventure Sports event.
In 2001 Eric Alexander assisted his blind friend, Erik Weihenmayer to the summit of Mt. Everest. It was a first and they received international attention for their accomplishment. Eric has completed six of the "Seven Summits" now. Eric started "Adventure Beyond Limits" for disabled and at risk kids, taking them on adventures that help them through the wilderness of their own problems. Eric speaks internationally and will share stories and encouragement that will inspire the whole family!

This event is hosted by Bayside Adventure Sports and will be held in the Bayside Church Celebration Center on Friday August 8th from 7 to 9 PM. Admission is $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Children 10 and under are free. www.baysideadventuresports.com for tickets and more info.
